Berkeley Sky DickToday, the global accelerator and center for entrepreneurship has announced that it will be hosting the Demo Day for Batch 14 on September 27.

Is characterized by 18 startups from four continents (North America, Asia, Australia and Europe), Berkeley Sky DickThe upcoming Silicon Valley Demo Day will present Silicon Valley investors from some of the largest venture capital firms with new opportunities in biotechnology, financial technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, hardware, aerospace manufacturing, data and security, enterprise software, and more.

Each startup receives five minutes to present to these investors.

Berkeley SkyDeck accepts only 1.5% of startups that apply to each of its groups. Cohort companies receive $200,000 in funding, $750,000 in free and discounted resources, and access to SkyDeck’s unprecedented network of UC Berkeley alumni, faculty, and advisors.

Berkeley SkyDeck alumni – including Lime, Zephyrus Biosciences, Xendit and Skyloom – have a proven track record in their own industries, raising more than $1.7 billion in funding. Now in its fourth year, the fund has invested in 160 companies, representing a wide range of businesses and industries from 30 countries around the world.
